An Idiot’s Guide to Floor Sanding?

The truth about floor sanding is that anybody can do it. But that doesn’t mean that anybody can do it well.

The decision of whether to have your floors sanded professionally or to sand them yourselves is often based on money. Strangely, not many people actually enjoy sanding a wooden floor! (That is people apart from us who (weirdly?!) take much pleasure in the transformation of wood.)

But before you make a decision based only on money, ask yourself, “What quality of finish do I want to live with?”

Now some of you are going to be DIY genii, granted (you are a rule unto yourselves), but for those that aren’t, quality and overall finish are a worthy consideration. Remember, a properly sanded floor can add value to your property. Just as a badly sanded floor can cause the opposite to be true.
